Community Food Smart is a food security initiative supported by the
Economic and Social Inclusion Corporation, Fredericton Community Inclusion Network, Greater Fredericton Social Innovation and  the United Way of
Central NB. 

Membership in this bulk food discount buying club is open to all, including those individuals and families most in need of access to fresh quality, affordable food delivered near to where they live, work or study. 

A  flyer prepared by registered dietitians is included in each bag.  It contains information on how to safely clean, prepare, cook and store produce as well as a couple of basic recipes.

Working to make this a success are many community partners including food banks, student and multi-cultural associations, health clinics, neighbourhood tenant associations and faith based groups.
