At Community Food Smart, we believe that access to affordable, nutritious food is a right for all citizens. Membership In Community Food Smart is inclusive, with no pre-requisites to qualify for membership. The goal of Community Food Smart is to provide food to people in our community who experience barriers to accessing fresh and affordable produce. |

Membership Rights and Responsibilities
Anyone interested in placing an order for a fresh produce bag must first join as a member of the Community Food Smart club. The annual membership fee is $10, or what you can afford to pay.
Membership can be taken out for an individual or for a family living at the same address. Membership is not transferable from one person or family to another.
The goal of the program is to enable members to access fresh produce bags at convenient locations. Members are encouraged to sign up with a Distributor located close to where they live, work or study.
Members place their order and pick up their fresh produce bags with the same Distributor they applied to for membership.
Membership can be transferred from one Distributor to another, so that you can obtain the most convenient arrangements for placing and picking up orders.
Members agree to pay in full and on time for food orders by the due date. Cheques can not be accepted as payment.
Members can decide to opt in or out each month, purchasing when they feel they will benefit.
A maximum of two food orders each month can be placed by each member.
