Market Greens is a non-profit, community based, produce market .... with a difference.
Our program aims to make it easy for people to be healthy, by eating healthy, at prices they can afford.
You can find us at the Fredericton Public Library on Wednesdays from 2pm -6pm. Here you will find affordable fresh fruits and vegetables, including some locally grown and produced items, along with information on nutrition and food preparation.
All health and safety guidelines are strictly enforced to ensure a safe space is created for customers and our volunteers.
Just like Community Food Smart, the market is open to all, and will be appreciated the most, by people looking to make healthy food choices on a budget.
The market will offer activities such as food demonstrations, activities, tips, and recipes from Canada’s Food Guide, as appropriate, under prevailing safety guidelines.

Market Greens is a project developed by Community Food Centres Canada, which works with community and health organizations to deliver Market Greens programming across Canada.
CFCC provides funding and program support so that organizations can establish new community-based non-profit markets for the community, and provide access to subsidized fruits and vegetables for eligible people referred by health providers.
